When the Nespresso machine runs out of water, it stops dispensing coffee. If you refill the water and reinsert a capsule that was previously punctured (due to an initial attempt), the machine often makes an unusual noise.

 

This sound reminds me of a scene from Andrei Tarkovsky's movie "Stalker," where three characters travel to the prohibited zone in a mining cart. The background music in that scene, sharp and bizarre, resembles the strange noise made by the coffee machine when using the same capsule twice
